Around 4:30 Sunday afternoon, October 26, Gundagai was hit by a short but destructive storm. Gundagai Fire and Rescue and Gundagai SES crews responded to multiple incidents across the area.
The hardest-hit location was a property on Nangus Road, where a large fallen tree destroyed a cabin and strong winds damaged part of the main office.
Fortunately there has been no reports of injuries during this weather event locally.
Other minor incidents were also attended, with crews working quickly to make all areas safe.
