Across Two Days From 6.30pm Thursday, 16 April the Board of Directors of Great Divide Mining Ltd, (ASX:GDM) with the GDM Team invite the community to attend a community information evening about the recently re-commissioned Challenger Gold Mine.
Held at the Adelong Services Citizen and Bowling Club on 54 Tumut Street, Adelong NSW, questions and agenda items are being encouraged to be sent to community@greatdividemining.com.au.
Supper will be served after the meeting, which will include a welcome and introductions, a Challenger Mine update, Recycled water process for Gold Concentrate production, Mullock processing, Open-cut operations and a community Q&A.
On Saturday, 18 April from 8am to 12pm, a community open day at the re-commissioned Challenger Gold Mine will be held.
Kids activities will be on offer throughout the day, including gold panning, face painting, a magic show and a colouring in competition. Three Toyworld vouchers will also be available to win.
Bacon and egg rolls, a coffee cart, fresh pastries, juices and cold drinks will be on offer for visitors.
Held at the Adelong Alive Museum, on 86 Tumut Street in Adelong, all participants will be taken by bus to the mine. Registration to attend the mine will be available on the day and long-sleeved shirts, long pants and fully enclosed footwear is mandatory as per safety rules.
A safety induction will be required for those who wish to be escorted to the mine site. All mine site access participants must be aged 16 years or older to visit.
