Nominations are now open for the 2026 Gundagai Business Awards, an event which gives the Gundagai community the opportunity to recognise the outstanding businesses, organisations and individuals that make Gundagai what it is.
The Award Categories for 2026 are:
• Outstanding Employee (NSW BA Aligned)
• Outstanding Young Business Leader (NSW BA Aligned)
• Outstanding Business Leader (NSW BA Aligned)
• Employer of Choice (NSW BA Aligned)
• Outstanding Community Organisation (NSW BA Aligned)
• Outstanding New Business (NSW BA Aligned)
• Excellence in Business (NSW BA Aligned)
• Excellence in Innovation (NSW BA Aligned)
• Outstanding Customer Service – Business/Organisation
• Outstanding Customer Service – Individual
Once again, local businesses are able to sponsor an award category as part of this year’s program. Sponsorship is a great way to support the awards while also promoting your business throughout the campaign and at the Gala Awards Night. The contribution for one award sponsorship is $100.00 per category.
Sponsorship includes:
• Category naming rights
• Logo on promotional material, nomination forms and certificates
• Social media promotion
• Logo featured on the award trophy
• Recognition at the Gala Awards Night
• Opportunity to present sponsored award on the night
Casey Polsen, Tourism and Economic Development Officer from the Gundagai Visitor Information Centre says the business awards are an opportunity for local businesses and people to be celebrated.
“The Gundagai Business Awards 2026 are a chance for the community to come together and recognise the people and businesses who help make our town thrive. Following the success of the 2024 awards, which were incredibly well received, we’re excited to build on that momentum this year,” she says.
“The awards night is a really positive celebration of our local business community, bringing people together to acknowledge the hard work, innovation and dedication happening across Gundagai. We encourage everyone to get involved by nominating a business, organisation or individual they believe deserves recognition.
