Dorothy the Dinosaur will be performing with her friends in a “spectacular show” at the Gundagai District Services Club on April 5 from 10:00am.
Due to popular demand, the Club has opened more tickets. Joined on stage by all her Wiggly friends like Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword, the show is sure to live up to its “spectacular” name.
Tania Mellis of the Gundagai Services Club said tickets are selling like hot potatoes.
“It is amazing. We are super excited. The tickets actually sold out in three minutes. All of us here are just gobsmacked at just how fast it did sell out,” she said.
“We are super excited to be hosting Dorothy the Dinosaur’s Spectacular Show and just the fact that knowing we are supporting our little local town and bringing in something so exciting for the little ones here is even more exciting.
“It’s a big thing for Gundagai and I think they are trying to target some of the rural areas now, which is really good. They are not just worried about main stream because they understand that there are kids everywhere throughout Australia that would love to see them.
“On 15th March we have the Dave Price Trio playing here, free entertainment from 7:30pm Saturday night.
“We also have an open charity golf day on Wednesday 5th March with all proceeds going to Gundagai Can Assist and the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute for Medical Research. Whether you can play or you can’t, everyone is welcome.
“It is a nine hole three person Ambrose, 8:30am for a 9:00am start. Cost is $40 for golf and lunch or you can just come for a two course lunch for $30. There will also be a raffle and trading table. Bookings are essential and needed by 2nd March with Jarrod at the Pro Shop on 6944 1926.
“Our big bonanzas have started back on Friday nights and our Sunday raffles are also underway again.
“We also have our Members Draw every Friday night that people can come down for and our bowler’s meat trays on the Friday night.
“We are very excited about Dorothy the Spectacular and Captain Feathersword coming and hopefully we will have little rug rats running around everywhere having the best time.
